Citizen Reentry Information Session

The Wayne County Reentry Council will hold a citizen reentry information session on Tuesday, Apr. 16 at 5:30 p.m. in Room 101 of the Walnut Building on Wayne Community College’s campus. It is free and open to the public to attend.

Held in honor of Second Chance Month, the event will provide information on available resources to help formerly incarcerated individuals transition back into the community. Guest panelists will cover topics such as overcoming barriers to employment, tuition assistance support services, life after incarceration, and making the right choices.

This event is also sponsored by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act and NCWorks Career Center.
